Australia Post has marked the 30 years of service for icebreaker RSV Aurora Australis, with a series of stamps. The vessel was launched in Newcastle, New South Wales in 1989. It only two more seasons left in Antarctic waters - it will be replaced in 2020 when the new icebreaker Nuyina becomes operational.
